About Matt

I’m a Certified Athletic Therapist based in Victoria, BC. I help people recover from injuries, prevent recurring issues, and build confidence in the way they move, train, work, and live.

My approach combines injury assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise rehab, and strength-based progressions. My goal is to help you understand what is going on, build a plan around your goals, and carry that progress into the activities that matter most to you.

How I approach care

I believe everyone is an athlete in the context of their own life.

For some people, that means returning to sport or training. For others, it means getting through a workday with less discomfort, feeling stronger in the gym, keeping up with family, or feeling more confident with daily movement.

My approach is to meet you where you are, build a plan around your goals, and help make what we work on in session carry over into real life.

My background

Before becoming an Athletic Therapist, I spent years in competitive climbing, including competing as a World Cup climber. That experience shaped the way I think about movement, injury, performance, recovery, and the frustration that can come with not being able to do the things you care about.

I now use that experience alongside my Athletic Therapy training to support people through injury rehab, return to activity, injury prevention, and strength-based movement planning.
